Dr. Henao joined Trimac after working in private practice in New Glasgow. She holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of South Florida, Tampa (2009) and a DDS from Temple University in Pennsylvania (2016). While she was studying at Temple she was named to the Deans List in 2012 and 2013. After graduation, Dr. Henao practiced in Pennsylvania for one and a half years before moving to Nova Scotia, where she practiced in New Glasgow.
Her areas of practice include aesthetic dentistry and function improvement, and she is particularly interested in using crowns, bridges, dentures, and Invisalign treatment to improve the appearance and function of her patients’ smiles. She’s a member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Henao enjoys hiking, travelling, and exploring new places. She also enjoy reading fantastic novels, spending time with her friends, and trying new cuisines.
